Syllabus week is over and I can’t confidently say I’m okay with that. Some of us are clearly still on summer mode, but the reality of the semester is beginning to set in. So for these first few weeks we’ve really been emphasizing the philosophy “work hard, play hard”, and we’ve done just that *cheers*. For the team’s first official brunch of the semester we decided to check out Vagabond on lower Greenville. We didn’t know much about it, and to say the least we were pleasantly surprised with this hidden gem. Between the insane stories from the night before and the endless cups of water (much needed), we found ourselves drooling over the menu, eager to order.
While waiting for the food, we enjoyed Vagabond’s patio scene and all it’s glory. Nati and Shelly played a few rounds of Bocce, Daniella and Adriana sat at a table chatting about something fabulous I’m sure, and Sky and Shannon were posted in the back, simply being cool.

Back to the food—those plates came out from the kitchen and we all immediately gathered back around the table without anyone having to say a word. We ate family style (aww) so we could sample all the different entrees and get a taste for everything Vagabond has to offer.
Recommendations: The Brunch Burger, French Toast with Brandied Cherries, and the Apple Stuffed Doughnuts with Cinnamon Sugar
After indulging in brunch, we got down to business. We brainstormed some new ideas, presented a few opportunities, planned some stellar posts, and most importantly discussed the potential new bloggers for the team! All I gotta say is, it keeps getting better. The SMUStyle team is back and better than ever, advising all to stay tuned and stay stylish.
