Top Outdoor Venues around Dallas

September 3, 2020 by

In the days of social distancing, outdoor venues seem to be a better choice. Luckily, Dallas has plenty of adequate outdoor spaces to hangout.

Waterproof at The Statler

Waterproof has always been one of my favorite places to go. You can easily make a reservation online and choose where you want to sit. There are an indoor bar and lounge, as well as a large pool and pool deck. Wherever you may choose, the areas are private and socially distanced. Drinks and dinner are available as well.

The Joule

The Joule is another beautiful hotel downtown, except the pool here makes you feel like you are swimming in the middle of the city. A super unique design makes it look like the pool is hanging off the edge of the building. Truly a beautiful experience and a cool place to escape the heat.

The Pool Club at Virgin Hotels

Not only does this pool have a stellar view of Dallas, but also a beautiful bar and lounge area. This is the perfect place to go with friends one afternoon and have a drink. The aesthetic is very bright, young, and fun. You have the option to book a cabana or a day pass.

XOXO Social

XOXO Social will definitely give off more of a club vibe. Buy a table for you and your friends, or just sit down for dinner in the dining room. This place is so fun and new. You know you are in for a good time.

If you are in the mood for a more casual vibe, there are other options as well.

The Rustic

The Rustic has always been a classic spot to go enjoy the weather with some friends. The large, open grassy area and picnic tables are great for a calm night. Typically there is some sort of live music in the background, giving an overall wholesome vibe.

Chelsea’s Corner

Chelsea’s Corner is very similar to The Rustic, but a bit more put together. The restaurant space is designed to look like a garden with a modern twist. I will say, brunch at Chelsea’s is a must.

Have fun and be safe!
