SB Must Have: Slate Swim

March 5, 2018 by

As many of you are well aware (or if not consider yourself warned) Spring Break is exactly 1 week from today.

That means for all you babes jet-setting to a warmer climate and haven’t quite perfected your swimwear collection, prepare yourself (and your credit cards) for your newest obsession.

Slate Swim, based in Los Angeles, describes themselves as creating, “effortlessly-sexy swimwear pieces that are your ultimate go-to.” And after receiving mine, I couldn’t agree more. As soon as I unzipped the minimalistic packaging and pulled out my new bikinis I was extremely satisfied with the quality of the fabric. And let’s be real – we’re all familiar with the unforgiving fabric of some lower quality swimwear, although before I even tried on the new suits I knew Slate Swim had got it right.

I typically think of my body type as on the more difficult side to fit. You know the drill; trying on 15+ suits in the dressing room with maybe 2 in my hand as I walk up to the counter. So any bikinis I order online, I assume usually won’t fit to my liking. Although, as soon as I tried them on, I was pleasantly surprised by the way the fabric stretched to fit my specific curves. I tried on 2 of their most popular styles: The Zinc Top in Rose and the Spectrum One-piece in Wine. And I must admit both colors are ABSOLUTELY perfect. Regardless which of my friends I made try them on, they seemed to flatter every complexion. Perfect example: one of my friends looking SO unreal in both suits and giving me some major SB outfit inspo.

Needless to say, I will be ordering every other style this brand offers. So ladies, before you throw in the towel on your SB online shopping binges, here’s one more brand worth adding to the collection.

Until next time,
