The temperature we’ve all been waiting for: 77 degrees.
77 Degrees, recently opened its sleek rooftop hangout on North Henderson Avenue, and we couldn’t be happier. The recent project complete with four decks, cabanas, hanging swings and multiple bars with be your go-to place to sip margs while viewing the Dallas skyline.
Walking up the curved stairs to the primary rooftop platform gave me tropical vibes…almost like a club on South Beach. The entire multi-level structure screams Miami with a southern twist, from its modern aesthetic, clean color scheme and rustic accents. Not to mention, its array of simple and aesthetically pleasing backgrounds make it one of the most “Instagrammable” venues in Dallas.
Especially since Dallas is cooling off soon as we enter the fall months (fingers crossed), 77 Degrees is the ideal spot to lounge from 3 p.m. through sunset and into the night. Something I didn’t know when I went for my first time, is that they also serve food, so no need to worry about spending all day there. Their “Palatte Pleasers” range from chips and dip, to pulled pork tacos, to pineapple bowls. The rest of their menu consists of fairly priced specialty cocktails ($12) which use Grey Goose Vodka, Bacardi Rum, Bombay Gin, or Mezcal Tequila.
If you’ve been to this bar already, you have probably realized the first floor is untouched. This space will eventually become Jack & Gingers Irish Pub. Although for now we’re happy to lounge in a cabana at the perfect temperature.
