Pinkberry Who?

Finally, the West Coast staple has made it’s way to DTX- and we couldn’t be happier.  Just a few weeks ago, Pressed Juicery opened in Uptown right across from Crescent Court. Their vegan soft-serve ice cream, “Freeze,” is already every coastal city’s go-to healthy dessert, and now will be yours too. It’s somehow so delicious even though it’s made with such few ingredients: nuts, fruits, and vegetables. Once you choose the chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, or pineapple flavor, you can decide which three toppings you want. Anything from chocolate chips, granola or cookie crumbles, to sprinkles, marshmallows, and fresh fruits. My favorite thing so far about the freeze is their “sauce option”. I usually get the almond butter drizzle, but they also have chocolate, granola butter, and honey. Maybe the best thing about Pressed Juicery is that their “Freeze”  is vegan, gluten free, and kosher. Not to mention, a typical serving is only around 150 calories since it’s 100% juice.

When you’re not in the mood for a freeze, Pressed also has a wide selection of juices, smoothies, cleanses, lemonades, and juice shots. Cold-pressed juice has definitely been a healthy lifestyle game changer over the last couple years. They have maintained a guiding principle to provide healthy juice sourced from California’s Central Valley. What makes this juice shop especially unique to others around Dallas, is that they offer their juices at a more affordable price. I used to buy my juices from The Juice Bar, although they always ended up being around $10. Pressed juices are priced at $5-6.50 a much more reasonable price. I think it’s safe to say we’re all really happy Pressed Juicery made its way to Dallas.
