NYFW 2017 Through the Lens of Lucy Tomforde

September 19, 2017 by

Though NYFW may be over *tear*, we can still rejoice in its glory and memorialize on the past week by taking a look at some of the best photos taken through the lens of our guest blogger, Lucy Tomforde.

This cool girl with an even COOLER last name (@ Tom Ford), takes some of the best, most posh pictures out there. Click HERE to see some of her most recent work.

I reached out to her for some photos from her time at NYFW and she did NOT disappoint. It’s like having our own little SMUStyle Correspondent!!! Lucy had the opportunity to see Eugenia Kim (swimsuits), Carmen Marc Valvo (dresses) & the David Tupaz runway show at the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum. See her pics and learn about her experience below…

“The best part of fashion week, even more than the designs on display, is the fashion displayed in the audience. It is street style at its finest and the most unique display of personal style.”

“The David Topaz Show was a combination of his own designs and two other designers with a pre-runway cocktail event with several events, photo boots and a red carpet.”

“The Eugenia Kim and Carmen Marc shows were more interactive where you could see more details and approach the designs at an arms length distance. Kim’s bags were to die for, Im defiantly looking forward to getting one for the spring.”

Big, BIG shoutout to Lucy!!! This post wouldn’t be possible without her. See more of Lucy’s pics at rockintomforde.com and check out @smustyle on Instagram to see videos and boomerangs from Lucy’s week!

Happy Tuesday, everyone! Stay sane and healthy with the big week ahead!
