IN-FLIGHT ENTERTAINMENT: MOVIE SELECTION

March 6, 2019 by

Ladies and gentlemen, this is G speaking. I’m here to brief you on your in-flight entertainment options prior to takeoff…

We all know traveling can be a pain. Praying your suitcase doesn’t weigh over 50 pounds (overweight baggage fees are almost worse than the charge for extra guac), standing in mile-long security lines, and almost missing your flight because the Starbucks line was too long… talk about a bummer. And this is all before getting on the plane (where you get a middle seat between a drunk guy and a crying baby)!

Well, I’m here to make it a little more bearable with the best movies for air travel.

Without further ado…

CLASSICS:

Because there’s nothing better than a feel-good.

  • Breakfasts at Tiffany’s
  • Pretty Woman
  • 10 Things I Hate About You
  • The Devil Wears Prada

ROM-COMS:

Just because Valentine’s day is over doesn’t mean we can’t watch ’em.

  • John Tucker Must Die
  • Clueless
  • There’s Something About Mary
  • Bridget Jones’s Diary

HORROR:

Maybe you’re in the mood for a good spook?

  • The Conjuring (1 & 2)
  • Scream (series)
  • Insidious (series)

COMEDY:

We could all use a good laugh after midterms.

  • Bridesmaids
  • The Sandlot
  • Step Brothers
  • Anchorman
  • Superbad

FANTASY:

A little escape.

  • The Princess Bride
  • Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory

A GOOD CRY:

Let’s be honest, after midterms, there probably aren’t any tears left but–

  • Bridge to Terabithia
  • The Last Song
  • The Notebook

ADVENTURE/ACTION:

Everyone loves a little, right?

  • Avatar
  • Guardians of the Galaxy (1 & 2)
  • The Bourne Identity

With that, we’ll begin our initial descent. Make sure your seat-backs are forward, tray tables are up…

You get the gist of it. Enjoy your break– you deserve it.

XOXO, G
