Feast your eyes on SMUStyle’s favorite girly girl – LEXIE HANNA.
What’s In Her Bag
I could spend hours perusing the aisles of CVS. It’s never ending selection of products and the fact that the majority of the store is under $10 is what makes it so fun. I decided to help you busy kids save some time and compiled a list of drugstore finds. This group of products are a combination of things I have tried and loved as well as some picks for the gents that came highly recommended.
Spring break might have just been a couple of weeks ago but that doesn’t mean everyone isn’t already packing up to jet-set home or some equally fabulous location for Easter. California? New York? Colorado? For junior Elizabeth Williamson, it’s Miami.
Will I be in a pattern mood? Or a solid color mood? Best advice – bring both types of bikini options if you’re going on a beach vacation like Elizabeth! Don’t forget your swim accessories
Brunch is definitely the best part about Easter Sunday! Elizabeth packed all floral prints and mother-approved dresses for outside brunch spots overlooking Miami Beach. Elizabeth’s packing list also includes the most perfect Missoni top perfect for Saturday night dinners.
What’s Miami without a little nightlife? We were absolutely obsessed with this ombre sparkle top.
If your bag goes missing at any point tomorrow, do not come looking for us Elizabeth!
Pack well and happy travels,
Necessities are…well necessary. It’s interesting to peek into what every girl considers imperative. I asked Chloe a couple things about her personal style and what she carries. I would take notes if I were you…
1. What is one item that can always be found in your bag?
I always always always have chapstick. Being a Colorado girl prepared this habit for me because the weather is so dry!
2. Headed out on Friday night, what’s a girl’s survival kit to a long night ahead?
Bring makeup for touch-ups! You never want those Flash pictures to make you look oily after you’ve been dancing the night away! Also bring gum! No one likes stinky breath!!
3. If you could buy any bag right now, what would it be?
I have always wanted a Stella McCartney Falabella tote. Preferably in pink, since I live my life in pink.
4. Any secret pocket sized beauty products you love?
I absolutely love Tan Towels. They make you look so tan with literally no effort. And they are pocket sized packets!
The lovely and stylish freshman, Daniela Hernandez gave us a peek into her everyday life of school and just being plain fabulous. From her McQueen keychain that she carries everywhere with her in her wallet to her “I’m really vintage” Man Repeller phone case, Daniela’s gorgeous Valentino studded purse holds a plethora of fun things!
6. EOS Lip Balm
Say hello to Miss Rebecca Marin. This petite package exemplifies why SMU’s campus is well known for it’s stylish student body who can be seen any day on the Boulevard. Rebecca’s blog is one of the many among SMU’s fashion entrepreneurs ( if you will) and quite impressive. She is even offering a Valentine’s Day giveaway with a whole bunch of goodies for all her readers! You might see Miss Marin roaming campus (most likely looking adorable), heading up some business for SMU Fashion Week or study her little butt off in the library (once again, probably looking adorable) because not only does Rebecca flip through magazines like Vogue, where she has previously worked [jealous], but through Public Relations, Advertising, or Communications books. That’s right people, this lady is
double triple majoring. Style and smarts, that’s an A+ in our book. Curious as to what this gal carries around in her [ever-so classic] bag? Take a look!
Bag: Phillip Lim Pashli Satchel in Black
1. Her little black book (aka planner, which she got from her boss when she worked at Vogue)
2. Her handy dandy Iphone (Get Rebecca’s cute case!)
3. Kate Spade Card Keeper (for her adorable business cards!)
