NYFW kicked off last week and we all wish we could be in the city. With its crazy and busy calendar filled with incredible (and unexpected) locations, A-Z designers, & dazzling looks, some shows were definitely better than others. I mean, DUH, doesn’t that always happen in fashion? May the best one win.
There is something so alluring about street style. There’s a sense of authenticity in seeing personal style, and a growing familiarity with the accessibility of social media. The street style phenomena seems more realistic than the perfected ideals displayed in windows and on runways, and major fashion houses such as Saint Laurent, Moschino, and Celine are turning to the streets to for inspiration.
It’s a rule as old as time it seems – “No white shall be worn after Labor Day!”
But, who’s making the rules now anyway? I say let’s overrule this out-dated faux pas! With #NYFW all over the internet, especially on Pinterest and Instagram, the leaders of the fashion industry and taking over the runways with the most epic all-white looks. Now, it’s time to join the best of ’em.

Bruce Caitlyn Jenner for the cover of Vanity Fair were released and…(fill in the blank). The Bruce Jenner and Diane Sawyer interview left everyone with a lot of questions but pretty much publicly confirmed the obvious. Today the game changed: a) I totally missed when anybody announced that this was happening; b) what girl-Bruce would look like was one of the most difficult questions to answer from the whole ordeal; and c) she’s fierce!?
