Lately there’s been lots of buzz surrounding the new workout studio, Barry’s Bootcamp, so obviously I had to go see what all the hype was about for myself – Hint: I wasn’t disappointed.
I’ve always been a fan of high intensity workout classes like Orange Theory and TreadBarre so I was so excited to give Barry’s a try. Barry’s has locations worldwide with studios in New York, California, London, and even Italy! So it was about time they came to Dallas and show us why everyone loves it so much.
The 50 minute class combines cardio on treadmills and floor work with an instructor that will make it their mission to see you break a sweat. Each day, the class focuses on different muscle groups to ensure that your body has the “perfect balanced workout”. I went on arms & abs day, and I could barely lift my arms up the next day (but don’t worry, it was the good kinda of pain).
Right as I walked in, the red ambiance room and loud music put me in the mood and got me straight to work. After the 50 minutes was up, we stretched and a delicious berry smoothie was waiting for me at the smoothie bar. You can order ahead before class and it’s life changing!! I know Barry’s will kick my booty into shape and I can’t wait to go back (going tomorrow morning! hehe).
