When sitting outside with a couple of lawn chairs isn’t enough, check out some of these fresh ideas to keep your summer calender (safely) busy. Use the following tips to have the best post-quarantine gatherings, social distancing style.
- Create a “Drive-In Theatre” at your house!
A great activity for the family or hanging out with friends. All you need for this one is plenty of space for your guests to sit, and the side of a house or garage door. Set up a projector, and create your own movie theater outside! Keep the mood light with a funny classic and plenty of treats for your guests; I would suggest some chilled Rosé and individual packs of popcorn keep things easy. Below are all the essentials you need for this idea.
- Tie-Dye Party
Grab your best friends and a white crop top that has been sitting in your closet. This simple party idea can be amazon-primed to your house in a matter of days and is super fun. Beware, use gloves so that the dye does not stain your hands! Mix up a few cocktails to get the party started, grab a speaker, and tie-dye away.
- Rosé Tasting
Great for those of us who want something low maintenance. Do a curbside order at your local Total Wine, or pick up a few bottles of wine at your local grocery store. Pour small samples of a few bottles, and make each guest a small plate of cheese and crackers to sample along with the wine. The possibilities and combinations are endless! Here are a few of my go-to rosés that never disappoint.
Party safely! xx – Maddie
